Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Chemical manufacturing experience recommended.
  • Forklift operation ability.
  • Basic computer skills; MS Office; ERP exposure a plus.
  • Follow instructions and work independently.
  • Communication/interpersonal skills; able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Sit, stand, and climb stairs up to 10 hours/day.
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
  • Occasional ladder work and heights up to 50 ft.
  • Manual dexterity for equipment and packaging tasks.
  • Work in confined spaces.
  • Operate in an un-cooled warehouse up to 100° F.
  • Occasional turning, twisting, stooping, bending, reaching.
  • Wear hairnet/beard net (as applicable) and hard hat.
  • No exposed jewelry in body piercings in GMP production areas.
  • No contact lenses due to safety concerns.
  • Wear a respirator up to 4 hours/day (see SOP for facial hair).
  • Wear SCBA and other PPE as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in Safety Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and operations with a safety-first mindset.
  • Blend/package liquid and powder chemicals under GMP controls.
  • Inspect, clean, and fill drums and totes.
  • Load/unload tank trucks.
  • Draw and label samples for incoming materials and finished blends/compounds.
  • Clean/inspect blenders and reactors.
  • Verify and follow worksheets and batch instructions.
  • Operate machinery per supervisor direction.
  • Attend all mandatory training.
  • Complete end-of-shift paperwork per SOP—accurate and legible.
  • Unload bulk raw materials/intermediates to designated areas.
  • Store finished goods and raw materials properly.
  • Provide QC product samples as requested.
  • Assist with routine maintenance as needed.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment to standard.
  • Operate mixing/processing equipment to meet spec.
  • Weigh/package raw materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain clean work areas with appropriate tools.
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
  • Use digital scales accurately.
  • Follow safety and chemical handling procedures without exception.
  • Communicate effectively with teammates.
  • Execute all tasks per SOPs; perform other duties as assigned.
  • Cover plant/warehouse roles—or serve as a driver—when directed by the Production Supervisor.
  • Balance workloads with peers; provide back-up support.
  • Coordinate across Hydrite departments to ensure branch success.
