About The Position

We're looking for a Chemical Process Operator to support the repair and processing of critical aerospace components. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you'll work with production materials, equipment, and tooling while following established procedures to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met. At Chromalloy Carson City, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. Our teams repair and manufacture critical aerospace components used across the global aviation industry. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to use measuring tools or learn quickly
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Reliable attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or production experience
  • Chemical processing, coatings, plating, or metal finishing experience
  • Experience operating industrial equipment or hand tools
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
  • Experience working from work instructions or specifications
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments
  • Comfortable working with PPE and following strict safety procedures

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate production equipment, fixtures, and tools
  • Blend surfaces and remove or apply material using hand tools and machinery
  • Mix and prepare production materials according to established processes
  • Modify and process parts to required specifications
  • Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality requirements
  • Follow production instructions and specifications with a high level of accuracy
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow quality standards, procedures, and inspection requirements
  • Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and company policies
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations
