About The Position

As a Chemical Process Engineering Technician at Honeywell, you will play an important role in supporting and improving manufacturing processes used in aerospace products. Working on-site in San Diego and reporting to an Engineering Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams to help optimize processes, ensure product quality, and support continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will contribute directly to the efficiency and reliability of critical chemical and manufacturing processes. Your day-to-day work will include setting up and monitoring processing equipment, supporting assembly and test operations for both existing and new products, and assisting with specialized processes such as photolithography (including etching, patterning, and plating). You will also help guide production line operators, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and maintain accurate documentation to support consistent results. You will conduct process test runs, analyze and present data using charts and reports, and work with engineering teams to identify yield issues and support new product introduction. This position involves hands-on technical work of moderate complexity, where you will provide valuable assistance to process development and engineering personnel while helping maintain high standards of performance, quality, and safety.
