About The Position

The Chemical Plant Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by monitoring the premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives for personnel and visitors. The role may also involve providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. No security experience is necessary; training is provided. The position offers a wage of $15.91 per hour, weekly pay, growth opportunities, and a hiring bonus of $100 after training and $400 after six months, subject to remaining active and in good standing at each payout point.

Requirements

• Driver certification is required.
• Must have a valid Ohio driver's license.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to complete patrols.
• Must have strong technology skills, including cell phone and computer use.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.

Nice To Haves

• Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
• Retail, food service, or hospitality experience is considered a good fit.
