About The Position

The Chemical Plant Operator will be responsible for specific chemical process operations and support. The ideal candidate will be attentive, demonstrate technical expertise, and work well with other production team members to develop the best processes and products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 to 5 years minimum chemical plant operator or industrial plant support experience

Nice To Haves

• PTEC Degree highly preferred
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Mathematical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operate plant-specific chemical process systems
• Perform lab analysis; measure and record data
• Observe all safety and quality regulations
• Operate forklift, load/unload trucks, totes, drums, and railcars
• Meet the physically demanding requirements of the position
