This role supports plant operations under the Plant Manager, focusing on safely and efficiently operating equipment, handling materials, and maintaining smooth production processes in a chemical manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Ability to work a rotating 8-10 hour shift schedule (days, nights, weekends, overtime)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and general applications)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or chemical plant environments (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate site equipment by following written and verbal instructions
  • Immediately report all incidents, including accidents, spills, and near misses
  • Maintain plant housekeeping standards (clean, organized, properly labeled areas)
  • Accurately complete all required documentation (batch sheets, checklists, receiving paperwork)
  • Monitor alarms and respond appropriately based on procedures
  • Record and track operational data (temperatures, pressures, materials, processing times, test results)
  • Collaborate with the Shift Leader to ensure proper shift coverage, including overtime as needed
  • Actively contribute ideas for safety, process, and equipment improvements
  • Follow all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) practices and proactively assess risks
  • Maintain, use, and care for all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Participate in training and team initiatives to support continuous improvement
  • Attend and complete all required training
  • Sample process vessels and deliver samples to the laboratory
  • Perform filtration processes during product transfer to storage, trucks, or packaging
  • Prepare and transfer dilutions in designated tanks
  • Prepare chemical solutions (e.g., surfactant weighing and blending)
  • Manage raw material supplies (e.g., Acrylamide storage tanks)
  • Verify material transfers through double-check procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
