About The Position

The scope of activities for our Chemical Plant Operators range from field tasks such as material handling, big bag filling, truck filling, drum line operations, utilities, and tank farm management to control room operations, such as recipe management, process control, and troubleshooting. Advancement depends on the demonstrated knowledge across all product manufacturing technologies and job tasks. A training plan will be created based on the individual's experience combined with the need of the Wyandotte Resins team at the time of hire. CPOs must possess a like mindset, able to handle changing conditions and direction from their Supervisors without undue stress or resistance to change. Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED
  • At least 2 years of manufacturing or general industrial environment experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to climb/descend flights of stairs throughout shift
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety
  • Use SCBA equipment
  • Serve as HAZWOPER technician
  • Experience using a fork truck and pallet jack
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
