About The Position
CarbonFree is looking for a Chemical Plant Loader to support our company as it grows. This role will report directly to one of our Shift Supervisors.
Requirements
- High School diploma or completed GED
- Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Basic PC skills required
- Ability to work a compressed shift
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Physical requirements: Must be able to climb stairs, lift 40 pounds. Bending, stooping and walking is required
- Ability to work a 12-hr rotating shift and work overtime
Nice To Haves
- Previous industrial manufacturing experience is a plus
- experience with a distributed control system (DCS) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work in a SAFE and efficient manner in all tasks
- Primary functions of the loader position are trans-loading of bi-carb railcars, railyard railcar movements, truck tanker and railcar loading
- Monitor, operate and control equipment and systems to ensure that all are functioning and to maintain maximum efficiency
- Perform basic maintenance related tasks
- Initiate work request for required maintenance of equipment and processes
- Prepare equipment for maintenance
- Notify Supervisor of equipment malfunctions
- Record test results and other data pertaining to the plant’s operation
- Other duties assigned
