About The Position
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and hard-working Chemical Operator for our client in the Southeast Houston area. This is a temp-to-hire position with training provided on day shift before moving to a rotating schedule. The role involves handling chemicals, operating plant equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of plant safety
- Ability to read and follow SOPs for making a blend
- Ability to wear PPE such as half and full-face respirators, supplied air, rain boots for extended periods, rain suit etc.
- Basic math skills
- Must be willing to work outdoors
Responsibilities
- Handle chemicals, load/unload blend tanks and containers
- Operate forklift
- Operate plant equipment such as pumps, blenders, air compressors, and scales
