About The Position

The Chemical Operator safely operates equipment used to blend, transfer, and package chemical products in a manufacturing facility. The role ensures accurate processing of materials, maintains production documentation, and supports efficient and safe plant operations. This is a temp-to-hire position in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, scheduled for the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The pay rate is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb as needed.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic math capabilities.
• Comfort working around chemicals.
• Ability to wear safety equipment, including a respirator, gloves, acid suit, goggles, and steel-toed work boots.
• May be required to work outdoors.
• Flexibility to work overtime.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps, tanks, and processing equipment to transfer, blend, and package chemical products.
• Measure and mix chemical batches according to established formulas and production specifications.
• Fill drums, totes, and containers, and prepare products for storage or shipment.
• Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure quality and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records, batch logs, and inventory documentation.
• Operate forklifts or material-handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods as needed.
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
