About The Position

Blue Grass Chemical Specialties is growing, and we’re looking for a dependable, safety-driven Chemical Plant Operator to join our 3rd shift production team. This role plays a critical part in the safe, accurate, and efficient manufacturing of our products. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work in a physically active, safety-focused environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

• Prior chemical, industrial, production, or manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust chemical processing equipment and machinery
• Perform batch processing, blending, weighing, and material handling per SOPs
• Load and unload materials safely and accurately
• Record, track, and interpret production data to ensure product quality
• Follow all company, environmental, and safety policies at all times
• Maintain detailed logs, reports, and system documentation
• Perform basic equipment checks and housekeeping
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth plant operations
