About The Position

Entegris is seeking a Chemical Operator for their Slurries Production Division at the Aurora, Illinois site. This is an excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those with chemical batch manufacturing experience. The role is for the 3rd Shift, Monday - Friday, 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM (Monday’s shift starts at 10:00 PM Sunday night). Requirements

  • Technical - Mechanical or Chemistry-related experience, hobbies/interests are usually a good fit here.
  • Computer - Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, knowledge of Excel, ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
  • Behavioral – Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn new things, attention to detail and dedication to come to work on time/have reliable attendance is the type of individual who thrives in our environment.
  • Education - HS Diploma/GED Required
  • Experience – One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrates leadership ability and team building skills.
  • Physical – Requires manual lifting of up to 45 lbs., ability to wear respirator intermittently, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, package and prepare Entegris products for shipment.
  • Weighs, measures & verifies raw materials to make sure batches are made with the proper ingredients in precise quantities.
  • Receive raw material and containers.
  • Perform required data entry, recordkeeping, and make material transactions in the ERP system.
  • Perform required quality testing and inspections.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment.
  • Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.
  • Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.
  • Contribute to plant safety initiatives.
  • Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation).
