About The Position
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is hiring Chemical Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity at a chemical manufacturing facility in Glendale, AZ. This role provides progressive training in chemical production, container filling, and industrial plant operations within a highly regulated and safety-focused environment.
Requirements
- Chemical manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Over 2 years of Forklift experience preferred (propane forklift strongly preferred)
- Ability to maneuver trucks/trailers for loadout after training
- Strong safety awareness in chemical environment
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials regularly
- Reliable attendance and willingness to learn progressive skills
Responsibilities
- Perform labor duties supporting production and plant operations
- Operate propane forklift to move containers and materials (preferred)
- Stage containers and support fill line operations
- Assist with plant housekeeping and cleanup
- Support maintenance and preparation tasks on containers and equipment
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and tankers after training
- Complete filling logs and production reports
- Connect and disconnect railcars
- Assist with cylinder valve rebuilding and inspection processes
- Support bleach manufacturing and product sampling
- Perform minor equipment maintenance
- Participate in safety training and emergency response team as required
- Conduct visual inspections of cylinders and containers per DOT standards
