About The Position

Sensient Technologies is expanding its Natural Color plant operations and is hiring multiple Chemical Operators. The role supports the production process through activities including packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement. Starting pay is $28.05 per hour, with subsequent increases through a step-rate program.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times per day.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift and flexibility to work different shifts.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment according to safety, environmental, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled, where color and dust particles or allergens may be present in the air or facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Prior chemical manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, weigh, and charge raw materials.
• Operate processing equipment, including blenders, mixers, mills, and dryers.
• Follow written and verbal operating procedures.
• Weigh and label finished products and complete production documentation.
• Perform in-process quality analysis tests.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Clean equipment and work areas according to standardized procedures.
