About The Position

The role involves operating machines and production equipment safely, following batch tickets, setting up or adjusting equipment, monitoring output quality, and maintaining accurate production records. Daily cleaning of tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings, and other assigned areas or equipment is also an expectation.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Completion of any relevant manufacturing training requirements.
  • Completion of operations and safety training matrix and schedule.
  • Certified in operation of PITs where applicable.
  • Demonstrates a professional, team-player attitude toward work and co-workers.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Operates machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions
  • Follow Batch Tickets
  • Sets up or adjusts equipment according to manufacturing specifications
  • Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed
  • Cleaning of tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings and all other areas or equipment as assigned by the shift lead or supervisor(s) is a daily expectation of all chemical mixing operators.
