About The Position

Reporting to a Production Supervisor, the Chemical Mixer will join our team to support a dynamic and ever changing manufacturing environment by compounding / mixing our extensive line of water treatment products manufactured here in Greenville, Texas. While meeting our customer’s high expectations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous experience in a batch manufacturing environment
Basic Math Skills
Ability to read and interpret work orders

Responsibilities

Manufacture various products according to standards at Mohawk Labs.
Manage and maintain assets in this area including: Equipment and Controls, Operating Supplies, Inventory Control, Co-Workers.
Contribute to continuous improvement in the organization.
Clean, operate and maintain equipment in area including totes, pumps, mixing vessels, and raw material lines as needed.
Read, interpret and execute specifications from work order.
Manufacture batches based on work orders.
Provide detailed paper work flow to maintain inventory accuracy.
Plan and perform batch set up and changeover processes.
Pour and weigh raw material as needed.
Handle Hazardous Waste and Control Waste Stream/Flow
Keeps Work Area Clean and Free of Safety Hazards
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally move drums up to 400 lbs.
Performs other related duties as required.
