About The Position

This role involves manufacturing material according to batch cards and mixing work instructions, ensuring specified quality requirements are met. Responsibilities include inspecting and recording finished batches, maintaining material lot control information, monitoring mix integrity, and cleaning mixing equipment. The position also entails bulk filling of drums and totes, assisting on production lines, and training new mixers. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, process improvement, and maintaining good housekeeping. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment; preferably automotive or bottling and packaging.
  • Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English.
  • Must have the ability to perform simple math calculations.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be certified to drive all types of forklifts.
  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lift/push/pull up to 65 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to kneel, crouch, squat, and twist.
  • Must possess the mandatory ability to react and move quickly in case of emergency.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive or bottling and packaging manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing material according to batch cards and mixing work instructions safely and with the specify quality requirements.
  • Inspection and recording of finished batches.
  • Maintaining the material lot control information board.
  • Monitoring the integrity of mixes and shutting down operations if out of compliance.
  • Cleaning mixing equipment between batches.
  • Bulk filling of 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes as required.
  • Assisting on production lines as needed.
  • Assisting in the training of new mixers.
  • Promoting and following all safety guidelines and procedures, and recommending safety improvements as needed.
  • Recommend any process improvements that may help in your role.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping at all times.
  • Additional duties as required.
