Requirements
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Materials Science or Chemical Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
- Currently enrolled with at least 30 credit hours earned to date toward a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or related field from an accredited college or university.

- Proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office products.
Responsibilities
- Interpret specification requirements and communicate with Collins Operations sites and suppliers as required.
- Evaluate hardware for compliance to an engineering drawing to ensure all material and special process related requirements are met.
- Write Formal Engineering Reports to document findings.
- Do short term project management and collaboration with Collins engineering teams to solve materials and process challenges.
