About The Position

A well-established manufacturing company in Jamestown, NY is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Chemical Line Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining chemical processing lines, performing routine testing, troubleshooting chemical systems, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing, chemical processing, laboratory, or industrial production experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working around industrial chemicals while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing, chemical processing, plating, laboratory, or quality control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain chemical processing and plating lines.
  • Perform routine chemical testing, titrations, and solution adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot chemical process issues and make necessary corrections.
  • Collect samples and perform quality inspections to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Record production data, chemical readings, and process documentation accurately.
  • Prepare and mix chemical solutions following established procedures.
  • Inspect equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies regarding chemical handling.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
