About The Position

Flint Hills Resources (FHR), a Koch company, is seeking Summer 2028 Chemical Engineering Interns for its refinery in Corpus Christi, TX. FHR interns collaborate within teams on real-life projects and challenges, gaining experience in process engineering, plant optimization, process controls, and troubleshooting. Interns are assigned individual projects and mentors to support their success. This 12-week in-person internship provides a firsthand look at industry opportunities and the company. The FHR Intern Program offers hands-on experience, problem-solving opportunities, and ownership of work. Interns also learn about Koch Industries, its people, Principle Based Management, and the local community through weekly learning sessions, location-specific programming, and professional development. This program is designed to help individuals grow and contribute, offering a pathway to start a career within the Koch network. FHR/Koch is recognized as a top 100 Internship Program in the U.S. by WayUp.

Requirements

Enrolled in a 4-year degree program majoring in Chemical Engineering.
Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028.
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
