About The Position

As a Senior Chemical Engineer, you will support Component Engineering and Chemistry Operations working with plant personnel and Westinghouse counterparts to support asset management. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse facility in Cranberry Twp, PA. Requirements

• B.S. Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of general chemistry and data interpretation.
• Technical writing proficiency.
• To support decisive decision-making and collaborative asset management planning are important to the position

Nice To Haves

• Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) knowledge.
• Knowledge of PWR secondary side chemistry and steam generator operation.
• Knowledge of PWR primary reactor coolant chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience on plant operations as it relates to primary/fuel and reactor chemistry and secondary/steam chemistry
• Operational chemistry assessments to manage secondary side chemistry and maintenance planning
• Chemistry program planning and control changes
• Use general chemistry expertise for application to water chemistry control and material applications
• Troubleshoot relative to plant systems, modification programs, temporary and permanent material usage, and chemistry program management
