This individual will be responsible for performing engineering projects for one or more of the following: Aircraft Systems, Aircraft Structures, Engine and Propeller, Landing Gear, Aircraft MRO Activities, and Material & Processing R&D (including but not limited to brush plating/anodizing, electroplating, primer/topcoats, thermal spray (HVOF and cold spray), Pulse Waterstrip, laser, surface preparation and other related processes. Ability to demonstrate the ability to apply aircraft engineering principles and related disciplines to problem solving applications in a team-oriented work environment. Capable of quickly developing a working knowledge of design allowable and structural modeling as it relates to Aircraft Structures, Landing Gear Systems, Engine and propeller systems. Performing review of detailed manufacturing plans, drawings and qualification test plans; conduct metallurgical, mechanical, corrosion and chemical testing, chemical and environmental analysis for M&P development. Desire and ability to work in a team environment and have excellent communication skills. The individual must be able to interact with engineers, subcontractors, team members, and customers in a collaborative manner.
