About The Position

Foundations Minnesota is a member of Foundations Recovery Network, a nationwide network of addiction care with more than 20 years of providing evidence-based, patient-centered treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The Pride Program is now part of Foundations Minnesota, a new entity designed to strengthen mental and behavioral health services, expand programming, and ensure long-term sustainability. This transition allows us to better meet the needs of our communities while also preserving the Pride Program’s LGBTQ+ specialty outpatient track. This transition reflects our commitment to inclusive, high-quality care and positions us to serve more individuals with comprehensive behavioral health solutions. Foundations Minnesota's Pride Program located in uptown Minneapolis, MN is seeking a treatment focused and client-centered Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor to join our multidisciplinary treatment team to open another morning track. This position will provide on-going assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, continuing care planning, and individual/group counseling sessions involving recovery education. This is a hourly, full-time, benefits-eligible position at our Pride Program, with an evening schedule Monday through Friday from 12:00PM-8:30PM.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted license (LADC) awarded by the MN BBHT
1-2 years’ experience in the chemical dependency field
12 contact hours of co-occurring disorders training
Insight regarding the unique challenges faced by our clients
Must be able to pass/clear the MN DHS Background Study
Must be free of problematic substance use for at least the two years immediately preceding their hiring
