About The Position

Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels. This position involves preparing fresh, nutritious meals for students, contributing to menu ideas using local ingredients, monitoring stock and minimizing wastage, adhering to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices, and delivering healthy choices and guidance to the future generation. Parking is available on site.

Requirements

  • A qualified Chef with Cert 3 and 4 in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
  • Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
  • Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
  • All-rounder experience and able to cook Savoury & sweet desserts
  • Able to have a valid working with children's check & Police Clearance
  • Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
