About The Position

Mollie Stone's Markets seeks a responsible person for our Chef position for our stores located at our Peninsula locations. This individual must have a passion for customer service, food, and a desire to provide a tailored experience for all customers.

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years previous experience as a chef in a restaurant or hotel with proven catering experience.
  • Must be able to follow recipe specifications as defined in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Serv-Safe certified is a plus!
  • Passionate about food and fresh ingredients.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Daily production of high quality food products for deli and catering services.
  • Developing recipes and creating unique dishes using seasonal ingredients.
  • Merchandising prepared foods in cases, hot tables and other food stations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Working closely with the Deli Manager to meet financial goals.
  • Managing inventory and controlling shrink.
