About The Position

Through educating students on healthy choices, providing bespoke fresh food options, Chartwells brings the High Street food experience to education. But it doesn’t stop at food. We offer personalised solutions with a focus on adding value to hospitality services in education. THE POSITION Casual Chef role supporting the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team. Training alongside an experienced Sous Chef with the opportunity to step into lunch service when required. Assist with preparation and service for weekday lunch and dinner. Independently cook and serve Saturday breakfast once trained. Work within a professional kitchen team of 5 chefs during the day and a smaller evening team. Maintain high food quality and presentation standards expected in a private school environment.

Requirements

Qualified chef or experienced cook looking to step up
Passion for quality food and professional kitchen standards
A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
Comfortable supporting service and taking initiative when required
Reliable, organised and able to work independently when needed
