About The Position

As a Chef, you will be the creative and operational leader responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences that delight guests and uphold the highest standards of quality and presentation. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef, Head Chef, or Executive Chef in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, recipes, and fine dining standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop menus and manage food service operations effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working in upscale or fine dining establishments.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control software.
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and allergen management.
  • Previous experience in menu development with a focus on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute menus that reflect culinary trends and customer preferences while maintaining cost controls.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service.
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, including head chefs and line cooks, to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with management and suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and optimize inventory management.
