This is a seasonal, full-time Chef Relief position. The role involves directing, coordinating, and evaluating kitchen staff, food production, and food-service associates. The Chef Relief will be accountable for menu planning, staffing, scheduling, client and customer relationship building, and overseeing daily operations including food preparation, cooking, presentation, and serving students and staff. The position also requires oversight of food, labor, and overhead costs, occasional catering event management, and performing administrative duties such as purchase summaries, scheduling, inventory control, and production meetings. Strict adherence to Compass Quality Assurance, Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and WHMIS regulations is mandatory.
