About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is seeking an impactful leader to join our Digital & Business Transformation team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). Operating as an agile innovation "Speed Boat" that is redefining our operating model and driving a paradigm shift by 2030, our team fosters an adaptive, collaborative culture to modernize our end-to-end ways of working and catalyze strategic value creation through emerging technologies. Your role as Head of Agentic & Business Innovation will be to co-architect and steer Airbus Canada's value acceleration strategy. You will lead the strategic management of the innovation funnel and the transition of our core operational and business workflows into a model of autonomous process orchestration, leveraging Agentic AI, assistive devices, and advanced industrial automation to deliver major efficiency breakthroughs through 2030.

Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related transformation field, ideally combined with recognized professional Agile, Lean, or Program/Portfolio Management credentials.
  • Solid, progressive experience leading strategic enterprise-wide transformations, end-to-end process engineering, and emerging technology adoption initiatives within complex, global manufacturing ecosystems (Aerospace highly preferred).
  • Proven experience governing, designing, and scaling AI capabilities, multi-agent interaction models, and autonomous process orchestration to generate measurable business results.
  • Advanced mastery of end-to-end workflow optimization and the execution of complex process redesign frameworks within highly structured corporate ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of AI governance, drift detection, behavioral tracking of autonomous models, and risk mitigation protocols.
  • Strong executive presence, emotional intelligence, and diplomatic acumen to partner effectively with senior cross-functional leaders, secure technological funding, and negotiate strategic alliances with technology providers.
  • Professional bilingualism in English and French to communicate complex innovation strategies clearly across business functions, secure executive alignment, and mobilize multinational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee strategic relationships with technology partners, AI OEMs, and emerging tech providers to synchronize the internal development roadmap with global trends and integrate frontier capabilities (assistive wearables, advanced industrial automation) into our manufacturing environment.
  • Translate high-level business and technology strategies into structured, finance-aligned roadmaps, ensuring complex process re-engineering projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with overall program budgets.
  • Steer the organizational transition toward an agentic model across the business, ensuring strategic alignment to deliver on our target AI-enabled organization vision.
  • Direct and empower agile transformation squads to redesign end-to-end workflows, shifting activities from manual execution to autonomous orchestration, positioning digital agents as trusted "co-pilots."
  • Govern multi-agent interaction models and enterprise oversight frameworks to prevent systemic conflicts, detect behavioral drift in autonomous systems, and maintain long-term operational trust and safety.
  • Sponsor and scale the "Agent Gym" strategy to capture undocumented practices from human operational experts and transform them into structured, scalable intelligence.
  • Partner with the Engagement & Adoption team to govern interaction and interface designs, ensuring autonomous systems are grounded in Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) accountability and user trust.
  • Prioritize high-value AI and process-engineering use cases to optimize transformation portfolio ROI and secure validated operational efficiency gains through 2030.
