About The Position

Circa 1886, a highly-rated fine dining establishment in downtown Charleston, is seeking a PM Line Cook to step into the role of Chef de Partie. This role involves covering various line positions, including Saute, Grill, Pantry, or Pastry, as needed. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, composed under pressure, and possess a strong background in fine dining environments. This is a full-time position with a focus on work-life balance, as the restaurant is closed on Sundays, Wednesdays, and major holidays.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant.
  • Able to successfully handle a changing environment.
  • Able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Certificate and/or degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
  • Must have full availability including weekends.

  • Passionate about the Culinary Arts and looking to hone their skills to prepare for a management position.

Responsibilities
