About The Position

This placement opportunity is designed to provide comprehensive training and development in various culinary roles. It includes an initial orientation to the company and local community, followed by extensive hands-on instruction and mentorship in U.S. Culinary Standards and Culinary Skills Development. The program aims to build proficiency in diverse culinary disciplines and ensure adherence to best practices and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a post-secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA).
  • Demonstrated consistent career growth over the last years.
  • Demonstrated serious commitment to most recent employers.

Responsibilities

  • Receive an orientation to the company and local community, including learning about customers, culture, business strategies, payroll, local amenities, and computer systems.
  • Receive hands-on instruction and mentorship from experienced chefs in various kitchen sections (hot grill, garde manger, entremetier, sauté, pastry, banquet, butcher).
  • Learn and demonstrate specific culinary techniques.
  • Receive personalized feedback and ensure adherence to best practices and safety standards.
  • Refine skills through regular practice sessions and one-on-one guidance.
  • Achieve proficiency in diverse culinary disciplines and specific assigned areas.
  • Contribute to kitchen success through programmatic growth.
