About The Position

This is an opportunity to join the team of the iconic Little Palm Island, a luxury private island resort featuring multiple dining options on the Atlantic Ocean. The focus is on providing an exceptional culinary experience for guests. The role of Chef de Partie will support breakfast and lunch service, emphasizing consistency, organization, and execution. Responsibilities include maintaining clean and organized mise en place, executing a structured menu at a high level, and preparing the kitchen for evening service. Success in this role depends on strong systems, attention to detail, and efficient work while maintaining quality.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic technique, knife skills, and organization.
  • Ability to work clean, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Clear communication and the ability to take direction and feedback.
  • Consistency and attention to detail across all aspects of the job.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve.
  • High level of accountability; show up prepared, maintain standards, and contribute positively to the team.
