About The Position

The Chef de Cuisine plays a key leadership role in the overall success of the restaurant, working in close collaboration with the General Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing inventory, optimizing food and labour costs, and ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience that aligns with company values. The Chef de Cuisine works closely with the front-of-house team to maintain seamless service and is an active participant in strategic decision-making with the executive team.

Requirements

  • Proven success in a Chef de Cuisine role with some formal training
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Ability to work with various types of technology and systems, including the ability to troubleshoot, update, and train others on the use of
  • Ability to increase sales and minimize costs without compromising quality
  • Ability to act as an ambassador of the employer brand, looking for top talent and assisting with hiring for the kitchen team
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
