About The Position

Seeking a culture-driven, organized, and energetic Chef de Cuisine (CDC) for a NEW Village Whiskey concept opening in the Gulch. Village Whiskey features a comprehensive selection of over 200 whiskeys and is known for its acclaimed burger. This is an opportunity to join an established hospitality group committed to genuine hospitality and to grow with a team of talented restaurant professionals. The company invests in its leaders through a hands-on training program designed to immerse them in all aspects of the operation, providing real experience and building confidence. The training location will be in Philadelphia, PA.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years culinary leadership experience, preferably in a high profile, high volume, culinary driven environment.
Superior culinary skills with a proven track record as a chef and leader.
Strong organization and time management skills needed to be able to help run a Training Week at a New Restaurant Opening.
Ability to hire and schedule new employees for New Restaurant Opening.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

Provide overall culinary leadership and operational excellence for the restaurant.
Ensure the highest standards of cuisine, hospitality, and safety.
Drive business performance and guest satisfaction.
Oversee all aspects of culinary planning and execution.
Recruit and train a high-performing kitchen team.
Manage food and labor costs to achieve financial goals.
Act as an ambassador and role model of the Village Whiskey vision.
Support marketing and public relations initiatives.
Represent the brand at culinary events.
Foster strong relationships with employees, guests, and stakeholders.
Work with the Corporate Chef and Chef Jose Garces on seasonal menu changes and recipe builds.
