About The Position

Lincoln Village Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Chef, Culinary Cook, or Assisted Living Cook to join their team in Port Washington, WI. This role is part of a team-oriented organization with a growth mindset, committed to providing employees with the resources for professional and personal development. The position offers flexible scheduling with shifts ending no later than 7 P.M. and provides access to on-demand pay.

Requirements

Ability to speak, read and write English
High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines

Nice To Haves

Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, cooking, plating, culinary arts, and/or hospitality is preferred

Thorough understanding of sanitation and infection control practices

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
Adhere to menus and recipes, special dietary needs, correct portioning of food, food presentation, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef
Attend to residents’ individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders from residents and their guests
Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents
Work under the supervision of and take instruction from the executive chef and sous chef
