About The Position

This role supports a full-service Murray's Cheese experience through food enthusiasm, cheese knowledge, interactive customer service, and merchandising. Working closely with the in-store Murray's Cheese Master, the employee helps create an outgoing, personal, theatrical cheese-retail environment. Requirements

Interest in and openness to trying cheese daily.
Ability to convey ideas at an appropriate level for the audience.
Retail experience.
A strong interest in food and support for cheese business initiatives.
Ability to inspire and motivate customers while successfully completing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Cut, wrap, and merchandise cheese and related grocery items.
Conduct active demonstrations in the Murray's Cheese Shop, Deli, and other areas.
Provide proactive customer service through ongoing conversations and tastings with customers.
Participate in daily cheese tastings to develop product expertise and be willing to taste cheese every day.
Contribute to sales and gross profit goals.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Follow the Murray's operations manual and ensure products are fully stocked, fresh, signed, and rotated.
Complete Murray's Basic Skills Training and Murray's Red Jacket Training.
Create and maintain the Murray's Boutique experience through education, service, effective cross-selling, merchandising, and promoting designated products.
Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
