About The Position

Performs all general production activities involved in the manufacturing process. This role is responsible for following established production standards and performing all functions of the manufacturing process. The worker will inspect equipment for proper operation and safety, follow operational procedures, and complete required paperwork. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), quality control, cleaning, and sanitation procedures is essential. The position also requires following all safety procedures, ensuring accurate production counts are recorded, and being accountable for the proper operation of equipment. Reporting any non-compliant, defective, or sub-standard product immediately to the supervisor is crucial. The worker must be able to operate all CIP systems correctly, keep accurate records, run accurate tests, and take accurate samples. Assistance in other areas of the manufacturing plant may be required.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent skills by experience.
  • Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions.
  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies.
  • Must demonstrate basic math skills to calculate production yields and understand weights and measures.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate, understand, and write in the English language.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.
