About The Position

The Cheese Production Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the cheese production process, including preparing, processing, packaging, and inspecting cheese products while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, and a commitment to following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated production environment.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to follow all safety and sanitation requirements.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Comfortable working around machinery and food processing equipment.
Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or packaging preferred but not required.
Experience in dairy, food manufacturing, or production environments.
Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards.
Experience operating production equipment.

Responsibilities

Assist with cheese production, processing, cutting, weighing, and packaging activities.
Operate and monitor production equipment as trained.
Inspect cheese products for quality, appearance, weight, and packaging accuracy.
Measure and record product specifications according to company standards.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the production shift.
Perform labeling, sorting, and packaging of finished products.
Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed.
Follow proper safety procedures and report any equipment or product issues to supervisors.
Work efficiently with team members to meet daily production goals.
