About The Position

The Cheese Processor in the Make Room plays a critical role in producing high-quality cheese in a safe and sanitary manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for monitoring production processes, handling cheese throughout the manufacturing cycle, maintaining accurate records, and supporting efficient operations across departments. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, value workplace safety, and are eager to learn and grow within the dairy and food industry.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and follow directions
Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and responsible
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and work in the dairy food industry

Nice To Haves

Computer knowledge preferred, but training will be provided

Responsibilities

Operate cheese production equipment and cheese tables
Monitor production processes, including pH levels, starter measurements, and production lines
Mold, flip, move, and rework cheese as needed
Operate and maintain brine room and serum pump functions
Accurately complete production records and documentation
Perform cleaning and sanitation throughout the shift following Good Manufacturing Practices
Maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary work environment
Communicate effectively with team members across departments
Cross-train and assist in other production areas as needed
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and food safety standards
Perform additional duties as assigned
