About The Position

The Cheese Filler Operator safely and efficiently operates filling equipment to package products according to company quality and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. The work takes place in an industrial production setting with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in manufacturing or food/beverage production.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust filling machines during production runs.
• Set up equipment, perform changeovers, and complete line clearances as needed.
• Ensure the correct product, packaging materials, and labeling are used for each production run.
• Inspect filled containers for quality, including weight, seal integrity, and coding.
• Maintain accurate production records and downtime logs.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed production targets.
• Participate in training, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
