About The Position

Established in 1982, Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale is the largest beer wholesaler in southwest PA. We are located in Delmont, Westmoreland County and house over 350,000 square feet of warehouse space. A Warehouse Checker is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of the warehouse workers who are pulling orders and loading the trucks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• A minimum of two (2) years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders to verify the product to be loaded is accurate.
• Instruct loaders to make necessary corrections.
• Coordinate the loading of trucks to ensure product is sorted by account, volume and delivery time.
• Examine product and material for damage.
• Monitor duties of loaders to ensure work is getting done accurately and efficiently per department guidelines.
