About The Position
This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, accurately checking out their purchases, identifying and using produce codes, processing coupons, collecting payments, and maintaining cash security. The role also requires changing register tapes and performing other duties as assigned by store management. Training will be provided at the store level.

Nice To Haves
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- Manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Greet customers prior to checking their order
- Check out customer’s purchases accurately
- Identify and know produce items and be able to properly use produce and product codes
- Distinguish between manufacturer coupons and Schnucks coupons
- Process manufacturer coupons
- Collect correct amount due from customer
- Use proper procedure of accepting cash, checks, debit cards, credit cards, EBT cards, WIC vouchers and other payment options
- Complete register record accurately
- Practice and maintain cash security
- Bag customer orders
- Change register receipt and coupon machine tapes
