About The Position

This role involves loading and unloading carpet rolls and freight from trucks, performing clerical duties related to freight handling, and entering data into a computer system to generate bills of lading. The position also requires checking incoming and outgoing freight against invoices and bills of lading, conducting cycle counts of inventory, and relocating materials. Additional duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to drive a pole and fork lift truck
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must have a Lift Truck Driver's License
• Must have some computer skills (AS 400 preferred)
• Ability to work safely.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lb’s.
• Must have good attendance

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rolls of carpet and freight from trucks.
• Perform clerical duties as freight is unloaded or loaded.
• Enter data in computer to create a bill of lading.
• Check incoming and outgoing freight and match to invoice and bill of lading.
• Cycle count inventory and relocate material.
• Perform other duties as instructed by supervisor.
