About The Position
Join the Oak Harbor Freight Lines family, where success and tradition meet in a long-standing regional trucking company. With over a century of dedicated service across multiple states, Oak Harbor Freight Lines is seeking individuals to join their team. The Check-In/Check-Out Clerk will be responsible for managing drivers' bills and delivery receipts, including scanning and data entry.
Requirements
- No experience required; OHFL will provide training.
- Ability to handle challenging situations and resolve issues successfully.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong PC proficiency and experience using MS Office products.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Nice To Haves
- AS400 experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Obtain required bills and delivery receipts from drivers.
- Enter information from the bills and delivery receipts into the system.
- Report any over, short, or damaged notations on the bills or delivery receipts to operations.
- Work closely with drivers, dispatch, and operations.
- Use OHFL systems to enter data and utilize information to address questions and resolve issues as they arise.
- Perform general office duties as assigned.
