About The Position

The president of a growing company, who deeply values support from someone who can help maintain order, organization, and consistency in his day-to-day life, is looking for a grounded, trustworthy Chauffeur/Personal Assistant who thrives in a private setting where responsibilities vary day to day, and where anticipating needs makes all the difference. This is a role for someone who is observant, proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently. If you enjoy taking ownership, seeing what needs to be done without being asked, and keeping things running smoothly, this will be a wonderful long-term fit.

Requirements

  • Can maintain a smoke free environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Able to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Willingness to sign an NDA prior to interviewing
  • Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week
  • Comfortable around large, 150 lb. dogs and a tortoise
  • Calm, steady, and comfortable with a quieter environment
  • Respectful of space, comfortable with silence, works well solo, and can be soft spoken.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent driving skills and clean driving record
  • Proven experience transporting people in a professional manner, always arriving and departing on time and waiting patiently when appointments run long.

  • Comfortable with dogs - and a tortoise

Responsibilities

  • Maintain household organization systems (closets, pantry, storage, office, garage, porch, etc.).
  • Daily resets of common spaces; maintain overall neatness, ensure home is prepped for cleaning services.
  • Seasonal swaps for clothing, décor, household items and sporting gear
  • Maintain household schedules and calendars.
  • Keep the garage and other storage areas organized and tidy.
  • Help prepare for guest stays, holidays, and events.
  • Assist with packing/unpacking for travel and seasonal transitions.
  • Supervise or coordinate vendors and service providers (cleaners, landscapers, handyman, etc.).
  • Daily tidying tasks - load dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas, trash/recycling, etc.
  • Chauffeur to and from appointments as scheduled, arriving and departing to and from destinations on time
  • Track and restock toiletries, and household supplies.
  • Create and manage running household supply lists.
  • Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift purchases, flowers, supplies, etc.
  • Manage mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Bring items to/from storage as needed.
  • Assist with unboxing, organizing products, and recycling breakdown.
  • Prep meals occasionally as needed, generally three days a week
  • Occasional grocery shopping for meals and staples
  • Clean kitchen after meal prep; maintain tidy workspace
  • Follow all dietary considerations
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry (clothing, bedding, towels)
  • Steam or iron clothing and prepare outfits as needed
  • Keep laundry areas tidy, organized, and stocked with supplies.
  • Handle delicates according to care instructions (i.e. take to dry cleaner)
  • Occasionally feed and walk dogs. Keep pet supplies organized and stocked.
  • Feed, water and maintain bedding for tortoise
  • Schedule and oversee car repair, maintenance and detailing appointments.
  • Keep vehicles clean, fueled, organized, and in good running condition.
  • Identify, schedule, and supervise service providers.
  • Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes.
  • Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance needs; maintain outdoor areas and furniture.
  • Tackle occasional projects as assigned
  • Refresh porch, garage, entryway seasonally
  • Support travel planning, scheduling, destination searches, and logistics.
  • Manage calendars and reminders, updating calendars appropriately with commitments.
  • Assist with coordination of appointments, events, and guest prep.
  • Ensure devices are charged and ready for workdays/travel.
