About The Position

Enviro Connexions, a division of Waste Connections of Canada, is seeking a Class 1 or 3 Driver to operate a variety of trucks. This role offers daily variety with different clients, routes, and challenges. The company provides training to operate various trucks. The position is permanent and full-time, based in Sherbrooke.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 driver's license with 'F' endorsement.
Experience driving heavy trucks and an exemplary driving record.
Team spirit and interest in the community.

Openness to modern technologies.
Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of an open work permit.
International sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Responsibilities

Drive different types of trucks, primarily semi-trailers, according to operational needs and safety standards.
Transport residual materials from the transfer site to the Eastern Townships landfills (if assigned to semi-trailer).
Transport, pick up, and deliver containers from the district to clients in the Eastern Townships (if assigned to a roll-off truck).
Perform residual material collection according to an assigned route (if assigned to an automatic loading truck).
Collaborate closely with the team to ensure complete and punctual service daily.
Utilize technological tools such as smart cameras, tablets, and specialized software.
Depart from the Sherbrooke site between 5 AM and 6 AM.

Hourly wage of $27.70
Potential versatility bonus of $1/hour
Additional bonus of $2/hour when assigned to a different type of truck than the one assigned at hiring
