Chauffeur Driver Full Time
About The Position
People's Express is seeking drivers to transport clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, work, and personal events. The clients served are often low-income, disabled, and senior citizens, and the role requires patience and sensitivity. Drivers will operate vehicles of various sizes, including cars, minivans, and Transit Vans, some equipped with lifts for mobility devices. The position offers flexible hours from 5 am to 9 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys interacting with people and understands the sensitivity required when working with diverse clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of a chauffeur license required.
- A good driving record.
- Must pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening.
- Holder of a CDL medical card or able to obtain one.
- Van driver experience: 3 years (Required)
- Chauffeur's or CDL with a P Endorsement (Required)
- Day Shift availability (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Preferable availability of 5 days a week or 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities
