About The Position
Performance Driven Workforce is hiring full-time Chauffeur Drivers for an automotive Tier 1 supplier in Farmington, Michigan. Drivers operate commercial vehicles to deliver products in-state and out-of-state, secure loads for delivery and pickup, and coordinate with the dispatching team. The position is based in Farmington and works an AM day shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime when needed. The role involves transporting finished goods and raw materials between manufacturing plants, retail locations, and distribution centers; safely loading and securing products and vehicles; inspecting vehicles and checking fluids; planning routes and meeting delivery schedules; maintaining fuel, toll, and hotel records and receipts; maneuvering trucks into loading and unloading positions; promptly reporting defects, accidents, or violations; and participating in daily shop organization and cleanup.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Chauffeur Driver’s License.
- Excellent motor vehicle driving record.
- Travel requirements of 90%.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants, retail locations, and distribution centers across the country.
- Load and secure products and vehicles for safe transport.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and check fluids daily.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Retain fuel, toll, and hotel logs and receipts.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Report defects, accidents, or violations immediately.
- Participate in daily shop organization and cleanup.
- Coordinate with the dispatching team.
