About The Position
We are seeking a Truck Driver (Class 3 Driver) for a permanent position at our 600 chemin Rivière-Verte Saint-Antonin location. This role involves operating a side-loading truck for waste collection, maintaining communication with dispatchers, interacting professionally with clients, and completing daily reports. The driver will also be responsible for verifying waste types (waste, recycling, dry materials) and reporting any service anomalies to the supervisor. A pre-trip safety inspection of the vehicle is also required.
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 driver's license with FM endorsement.
- Availability for overtime.
- Availability on weekends and holidays.
- A copy of your driver's license and driving record dated less than 30 days ago.
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving a side-loading vehicle is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Drive a side-loading truck.
- Perform curbside collection of waste and recycling.
- Maintain constant communication with dispatchers.
- Maintain a professional relationship with clients at collection sites.
- Complete daily reports, route sheets, and work orders.
- Verify and identify types of waste transported: Waste, Recycling, and Dry Materials.
- Report any anomalies in service requests to the supervisor.
- Perform vehicle safety inspection and pre-trip checks.
- Perform other related tasks.
