About The Position

The primary function of this position is to supply customers by delivering ALC's liquid and gaseous products by tank truck according to ALC's directives and procedures, using appropriate equipment, respecting transportation laws and regulations, and ensuring the promotion of ALC's safety and quality objectives. The role involves obtaining the route sheet and ensuring it contains all necessary information, gathering all necessary documentation and equipment for the route, performing pre-trip equipment inspections, recording any anomalies that need correction in the inspection report, and informing the maintenance coordinator and repair person. The driver will review road conditions and customer requirements, ensure the truck is loaded according to procedures and regulations, and upon arrival at the delivery point, verify the condition of the equipment and customer installation. Any observed anomalies on site will be recorded and submitted to the supervisor at the end of the route, or the repair person will be contacted for any delivery non-compliance. The driver will perform product unloading into the customer's tank according to established procedures, provide accurate delivery slips for all ALC products sold to customers to ensure accurate billing, collect all relevant information in the barcode system, and ensure all forms and registers for which they are responsible are completed correctly.

Requirements

  • DEP in Class 1 truck transportation
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Class 1 driver
  • Prioritizes safety
  • Clean driving record
  • Very conscientious and attentive on the road

  • 1 year of experience on a tank truck (major asset)
